Santa Fe Restaurants have their own unique cuisine that is hard to find anywhere else. Geronimo Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. The world class food, service and attention to detail is some of the best you will find anywhere. They are one of the few restaurants to receive the Four Diamond Award from AAA and the Mobile Four Star Award. The have also been picked as one of the top 100 restaurants in America more than once. The restaurant is sophisticated and the setting is elegant. You will not only have a great dinner but will do so in a historic building that was built in 1756 with adobe walls, wood beams, and southwest style fire places. The menu is superb with wonderful soups and salads like Chilled Cucumber and Melon Bisque, Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad, and a creative Caesar salad. The appetizers and really special with Ahi Tuna, Crab Cakes, Foie Gras, and Lobster Ragout. The entrees are standouts with Elk, Sea Bass, Honey Grilled Prawns, Lobster Tail, Game Hens, Salmon, Scallops, New York Strip, Lamb Chops, and more. The restaurant also has a wonderful Vegetarian menu so there is always something for everyone. This is one restaurant you don't want to pass up.

Chef Kiffen is regarded as one of the best chefs in the southwest. All this attention is well deserved. The contemporary cuisine is superb featuring regional influences and fresh regional ingredients. The presentation is a work of art. The food not only tastes good but looks good as well. The restaurant menus are seasonal and do change. The lunch menu features some great appetizers like Potato and Leek Soup, Foie Gras, Lobster Salad, Scallops and more. The lunch entrees at this restaurant are delicious with excellent sandwiches, Waygu Beef Burger's, Chicken Schnitzel, Tenderloin, Salmon, Pulled Pork, Scallops, and more. The dinner menu is really special with more appetizers like Carpaccio Salad, Short Ribs, Shrimp, Endive Salad, and more. It is known nationally to be one of the best restaurants in the country having appeared in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Fodors, USA Today, and The Wine Spectator Magazines and Newspapers. The setting is elegant and comfortable at the same time. There are a lot of reasons why this restaurant is so beloved. Some like the fresh ingredients, the fresh produce, spices, meats and dairy. Others are sold on the restaurants creatively prepared dishes and presentation. The bottom line is everything about this restaurant is reflected in the care and thought that goes into every meal. The cuisine is French and the menu may change daily depending on the availability of fresh ingredients. The appetizers are delicious with French Onion Soup, Calamari, Duck Sausage, Shrimp, Trout and more. The entrees are some of the best with Pork Chops, Quail, Duck, Scallops, Chicken, Sea Bass, Fettuccine, and more. Santa Fe is known for its upscale fine dining restaurants and the Old House Restaurant is one of the reasons why. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and each meal is a treat. Breakfast features all the traditional favorites from omelets, Eggs Benedict, and hash browns to some great regional foods like Huevos Rancheros and Burritos. Don't be mislead by the name, this is some serious food. This restaurant in Santa Fe has been written up in The New York Times, Outside Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and others. It was also featured on the Food Network and by Rachel Ray. There are so many outstanding Santa Fe restaurants to choose from, but there is nothing like Cowgirls. It is some of the best Barbecue anywhere, plus it takes comfort food to a new level. The lunch appetizers will delight the taste buds. Start with their unique Chips and Salsa, Guacamole, Jerk or Spicy Chicken Wings, Chile Fries, and awesome Nachos. The Chuck wagon and Vegetarian Chilis are excellent. The lunch menu gets real extensive with BBQ Chicken, Brisket, Baby Back Ribs, Sirloin, T-Bone, Burger's and seafood like Salmon, Catfish, Scallops, and Shrimp. There is also a large selection of sandwiches and side orders. The dinner menu is extensive with something for everyone and some exotic options like a Buffalo, Elk, and Venison steak. If you want to have some fun try the Jerk Chicken or Chicken Fried Steak. The seafood is awesome with Bourbon Salmon, Seared Scallops, or catfish. If you are looking for gluten free, just ask your server. With all this great food you can expect to get a great beer, and you will. Check out the Tap Room menu and try something new. The Cowgirl Restaurant is a one of a kind place and may end up being your favorite of all the Santa Fe restaurants. When you are looking for something different, this is the restaurant for you. Blending the cuisines of Northwest Africa, the Southern Mediterranean, and a little Caribbean you get a unique menu and incredible flavors. The starters are so good its hard to decide; Crab Cakes with Plantain, Stuffed Pastries, Hummus, Coconut Shrimp, Jerk Chicken, and Cinnamon Plantain's. The salads are delicious with Spice Salmon, Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat and more. The main entrees and something special with Spiced Mahi Mahi, Peanut and Coconut Chicken Stew, Lamb Burger, Coconut Shrimp, Moroccan Chicken, Coconut Chicken, Goat Stew, Lamb Stew, Beef Kabobs, and so much more. The restaurant has some great sandwiches and wraps like the Jerk Chicken, Lamb, Curried Chicken, Vegetarian, and Tofu. The desserts are wonderful with Chocolate Cake, Pecan Pie, Baklava, Cobbler and more. Santa Fe restaurants give you a lot of variety, but there is only one place where you can get this kind of food. There aren't many restaurants that have been around since the early 50's and the Shed is one of those Santa Fe restaurants that have stood the test of time. Parts of the building have been around for over 300 years so it is truly a special place. The cuisine is a blend of several cultures; Spanish, New Mexico, Pueblo, and Mexican. The ingredients are sourced from the region much as the way food was prepared hundred's of years ago. For lunch there is a lot to choose from soups, salads, and more like Home Made Guacamole, Grilled Shrimp, Gazpacho, Raspberry Soup, Mushroom Soup, Stew and more. There are several fresh salad options. The lunch entrees like Turkey, Chicken, Chile, Enchiladas, Tacos are all excellent. The dinner menu features even more great salads and entrees. Get a great Charbroiled Rib Eye or New York Strip, Garlic Shrimp, Fish Tacos, Chicken Breast, Burritos, and more. The food is great and the setting makes you feel like you are dining in New Mexico when it was only a territory. The Chile is famous but spicy, and should be sampled, maybe outdoors on the patio.

They have very uniquely prepared appetizers like Pork Belly, Foie Gras, Gazpacho, and Salmon Tartare that are combined with ingredients like no where else. Entrees of Rabbit, Halibut, Duck, Pork Chops, Scallops, Buffalo, and more make this a very interesting place to dine. You will enjoy every element of this dining experience.
